Once I visited a flea market...
Znalazłam tam prawdziwy skarb - maleńką (10cm x 10cm), ręcznie wyszywaną chusteczkę z monogramem, ozdobioną mereżką i misterną koronką. Nie wiem, jak stare to cudeńko może być. Nosi pożółkłe ślady plam, drobne dziurki rozerwanych nitek i tajemnicę swojej właścicielki (bo zgaduję, że była nią kobieta) zapisaną w trzech literach finezyjnego monogramu. Chusteczka wydała mi się nie tylko piękna, ale również tak magiczna, że postanowiłam ją oprawić w ramkę i zachować w formie obrazka.
I found there a real jewel - a little (10cm x 10cm), hand embroidered handkerchief with a monogram, with drawnthread pattern and elaborate lace. I don't know how old this little thing might be. It bears yellowish traces of stains, small holes between torn threads and mystery of its owner interwoven in three letters of sophisticated monogram. I love the handkerchief and its magic so much that I've decided to put it in the frames and make a picture of it.
